If you're on nbn Fixed Wireless in one of 19,000 eligible Victorian homes, you could score a free upgrade to FTTP — nbn's fastest, most reliable residential tech — at no extra cost.

• Check your address on the nbn website — if it says "nbn full fibre is now available," you're eligible
• Construction has already kicked off in Sebastopol and surrounds, with all locations expected to be ready by December 2030
• Locations include Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Mildura, Warrnambool, Traralgon and dozens more regional towns
• Once upgraded, you can access plans up to 2000/500 speeds through your preferred provider

Worth a quick check now — especially if your town already shows as available!

Thinking of switching internet providers? New Optus customers can score some serious cashback right now.

• $300 cashback when you sign up for a 5G Home Internet plan
• $250 cashback on NBN Home Internet plans instead
• Just keep your plan connected for 120 days to qualify — easy

You'll need to be a brand new Optus customer and complete your sign-up entirely online to nab this one, so skip the phone calls and keep it all web-based. Prefer a gift card instead? There's a Finder deal for that, but if cold, hard cashback sounds better to you, this is your pick.

You're getting unlimited 5G home broadband for just $39.99/month for your first 6 months — that's a solid $30 off the usual $69.99/month, making it one of the cheapest unlimited 5G plans in Australia with speeds up to 100Mbps.

• Unlimited data on the Vodafone/TPG network — check for a nearby 5G tower on rfnsa.com.au before you commit
• Modem is included and free if you stay 36 months, otherwise just return it when you cancel — no lock-in drama
• Don't need 100Mbps? Save $10/month with the $29.99 plan instead

Just a heads up: it runs on CG-NAT, so it's not ideal if you need VPNs, hosting, or low-latency gaming. But for everyday streaming, browsing, and working from home, it's a bargain — grab it while it's live!
