How to request removal of content from WhatsCheap.
About
WhatsCheap aggregates publicly-available deal and pricing information from retailers, affiliate feeds, and community platforms. Where content originates elsewhere, we attribute it to its source with a direct link back.
If you are an original author, rights holder, retailer, or platform representative and you would like a piece of content removed, contact us using the process below. We review submissions and respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Who can submit a request
- The original author of a deal post or description text
- A copyright holder of product imagery, brand assets, or other material displayed on a deal page
- A representative of a source platform whose content you believe has been reproduced inappropriately
- A retailer or seller who wishes to have a specific expired, outdated, or inaccurate deal removed
How to submit a request
Email business@whatscheap.com.au with the subject line [TAKEDOWN] and include:
- The full URL of the deal page on WhatsCheap (for example
https://whatscheap.com.au/deals/...) - The URL of the original source (if applicable)
- Your relationship to the content (original author, rights holder, platform representative, etc.)
- The basis for the request — copyright, inaccuracy, privacy, or other
- Contact details so we can confirm receipt and follow up if needed
What happens next
- 1We acknowledge the request by email once it has been received and reviewed.
- 2If the request is valid on its face, we remove the content and confirm removal by email.
- 3If we need additional information or disagree with the basis of the request, we respond with a written explanation.
