## Description

The Celestion T5485 is a 1-inch exit high-frequency compression driver designed for professional sound reinforcement applications. This unit features a 40-watt power handling capacity and operates at a standard 8-ohm impedance, making it a reliable component for custom loudspeaker builds or as a direct replacement part in existing enclosures. It utilizes a ferrite magnet assembly, contributing to a total unit weight of approximately 1.5 kilograms, which ensures structural stability when mounted to compatible horns. The driver is engineered to deliver consistent high-frequency reproduction, suitable for two-way or three-way public address systems, stage monitors, and live event sound reinforcement. Its compact design allows for integration into various cabinet configurations where space is constrained. As a standard component in the Australian professional audio market, this driver is compatible with local audio equipment setups operating within standard frequency response requirements for professional sound systems. It provides a straightforward solution for technicians requiring precise high-end performance.
