[WA] Free Public Transport for Grand Final Day (26/9/26) @ Transperth

TravelPublic Transport

If you're heading out to celebrate the Dockers in the 2026 AFL Grand Final, you can leave your SmartRider at home — public transport is completely FREE across the entire Transperth network on Saturday, 26 September.

  • No need to tag on or off, and it applies to everyone — even cash ticket users
  • Extra trains running every 15 minutes on every line until 11pm, so getting to and from watch parties is a breeze
  • Free screening events at Northbridge Piazza, Yagan Square and BHP Amphitheatre if you don't have tickets to the game

Grab a few mates, plan your journey at transperth.wa.gov.au, and let the trains do the work — this one won't cost you a cent!
