Kapture Universal Rear Camera With 8m Cable for Smart Monitors

The Kapture Universal Rear Camera is an external-mount vehicle accessory designed to integrate with compatible Kapture smart monitor dash cam systems. This unit features an 8-metre extension cable, providing sufficient length for installation in most standard passenger vehicles, utes, and SUVs common on Australian roads. The camera is engineered with an IP67-rated waterproof housing, ensuring reliable operation during wet weather conditions and exposure to road debris. It captures rear-facing footage to assist with monitoring traffic conditions behind the vehicle or providing visual aid during reversing manoeuvres. The device connects directly to the main dash cam unit, which manages power and data storage. This setup is intended for drivers seeking to expand their existing Kapture monitoring system to include rear-view coverage. The package includes the necessary mounting hardware for secure attachment to the exterior of the vehicle, typically near the number plate or rear bumper area.
