PRO2 Battery Powered IR Repeater

The PRO2 Battery Powered IR Repeater is a signal extension device designed to relay infrared remote control commands to AV equipment hidden inside closed cabinets or cupboards. This unit allows users to operate devices like Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, or amplifiers without needing a direct line of sight between the remote and the equipment. The system features a compact design, measuring approximately 80mm x 45mm x 25mm, making it easy to conceal within entertainment units. It is powered by standard AAA batteries, providing a portable solution that does not require a connection to an Australian 230V/50Hz mains power outlet. The package includes an IR receiver, a battery-powered main module, and an IR emitter cable. This repeater is suitable for home theatre setups where equipment is stored behind solid doors or in separate rooms, ensuring reliable signal transmission across standard domestic distances. It is compatible with most common infrared remote control frequencies used by consumer electronics.
