At the heart of the 35mm F1.4 DG DN Art's design was an optical calculus at the highest level in its class. Although it remains significantly smaller and lighter than the existing 35mm F1.4, it is sharp right to the corners of the frame at open aperture and produces a creamy background bokeh; all aberrations are well corrected.
