Noctua 120mm 1200RPM PWM Fan (NF-S12A-PWM)

Quiet 120mm case fan with low-noise adapter and AAO frame system. Equipped with anti-stall knobs for direct airflow, this fan achieves up to 107.5 m³/h at a maximum of 17.8 dB(A). The maximum speed is 1200 rpm. With the included low-noise adapter, the maximum speed can be reduced to 900 rpm without fan control, lowering the noise level to 10.7 dB(A). The SSO2 reference-class bearing ensures maximum smoothness and excellent long-term stability. The AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame system features integrated vibration dampers made of extra-soft silicone to minimize vibration transmission. A stepped inlet design and inner surface microstructures enhance performance while reducing noise generation. The anti-stall knobs, located just before the blade trailing edge, accelerate airflow in the critical area of the blade profile and reduce unwanted flow separation. This makes the NF-S12A ideal for more restrictive applications such as dense grids, filters, heatsinks, and radiators. The fan comes with a PWM connector that allows speed control via pulse-width modulation through a PWM-capable motherboard. This dynamically adjusts the fan speed to the operating conditions, preventing unnecessary noise generation.
